Taking the Gospel To the Ends of the Earth...
Something to ponder here....
During the past week, I pondered how technology has increased the accessibility and distribution of God's Word throughout the world. While I do not wish to neglect the importance of being intentional about spreading the Gospel through word of mouth and relationships, there are many people that are coming to know Christ through these wonderful new channels. Here's what I've come up with:
While it is true that these new technologies have greatly aided in transmitting the Gospel to the world, let's not forget that one of the primary means of which we should deliver that message is with our very own body. This involves our lips (share the Word), our minds (plan to be intentional), and our time (build relationships and disciple). We are all called to be missionaries.
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Are there other "new/creative" ways in which you know of that God's Word is going out into the world?

Here's what I've come up with:
- Computers/Online. Much is available via online access including: apps for tablets, smart phones, and computers. You can find and download an app for many of your favorite ministries online, and most of their sermons and bible studies are available free of charge. Social Media would also be included in this group. Don't forget Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the many others. Chances are, your favorite ministry is accessible via social media.
- Radio. Through the medium of radio, countless amounts of people have heard the Gospel preached in their own language all around the world. Many of which do not have the means of internet access. Where internet is accessible, a multitude of ministries are available for streaming content. Don't forget the many "Christian" radio stations that stream, as well.
- On-Demand cable services.
- Internet streaming devices that deliver online content to your television (Roku is an example). There are many different ministries available here too.
